Global Cooling Update

Cycles of Global Cooling and Warming – 2019 Update

In the article titled Cycles of Global Cooling and Warming – What Is Going On!, published on September 19, 2017, Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, MD indicated that the global warming wasn’t a straight-line increase but, rather, falls into a cyclical pattern of planetary warming and cooling that earth has had for thousands of years. In the article, it was predicted that in 2019, based on this cyclical pattern, we would begin to enter a more overt period of global cooling. It was a bold prediction in the face of many people claiming that we’re still having global warming. This article supports prediction of global cooling, beginning more obviously in 2019, had some real validity. This article is an update on the climate events throughout 2018 and 2019 that strongly indicate we have entered a period of global cooling.

In the face of the reality of these shifting temperature trends, people are looking more critically at the accuracy of computer projections, which seem, at this point, according to an increasing number of scientists, to have been adjusted to reinforce the theory of human-made global warming, which is a straight-line graph (contrary to thousands of years of history proving cycles of global warming and cooling) only getting warmer. In this article, you will find a series of hyperlinked headlines you can follow to read articles showing the beginning cooling trends of the last two years.

We’re in the beginning stages of a global cooling cycle that is projected, based on previous historical of global warming and cooling cycles, to last for the next thirty-three years. We hope that this will give you a feeling for how to prepare and organize your lives as we enter into this cycle of global cooling, which unfortunately is far more challenging for the human population survival than the cycle of global warming. May you be blessed to truly appreciate the warning you’re being given and allow yourself to rise above the national and international politics to see what’s going on so that you can indeed prepare for this cooling temperature trend we’re entering and best protect yourselves and your loved ones.

Blessings to Everyone,

Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, MD, MD(H)

Coldest and Most Snow Ever [2/6/18]

Heavy snowfall and widespread ice have led to another day of travel disruption, amid warnings that Britain is set to be gripped by freezing weather all monthBoston tied a 100-year-old record when it marked seven consecutive days of temperatures that did not top 20 degrees Fahrenheit (-6.7 degrees Celsius).

31,000 scientists say “no convincing evidence”.

In outrage, a petition was signed by more than 31,000 scientists that states “there is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of . . . carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”

STUDY: Polar Bear numbers reach new highs – Population increases to the highest levels in decades [2/27/19]

Far from the 2007 predictions of a 67% decline in global polar bear numbers, the new report reveals that numbers have risen to the highest levels in decades. The US Geological Survey estimated the global population of polar bears at 24,500 in 2005. In 2015, the IUCN Polar Bear Specialist Group estimated the population at 26,000 (range 22,000–31,000) but additional surveys published 2015–2017 brought the total to near 28,500. However, data published in 2018 brought that number to almost 29,5009 with a relatively wide margin of error. This is the highest global estimate since the bears were protected by international treaty in 1973.

May snowstorm breaks 117-year-old record in Minnesota [5/10/19]

The 8.3 inches on Wednesday, May 8, set the all-time record for most snow on a single day in the month of May. The previous record was 5.5 inches, set on May 10, 1902. The burst of May snow also shattered the record for the snowiest month of May ever in Duluth, eclipsing the previous record of 8.1 total inches of snow set in May of 1954. It was also the snowiest May 8 in Duluth history as the more than 8 inches of snow surpassed the previous record for the day of 5 inches set way back in 1924. Record-keeping began in 1884.

Highest CO2 levels recorded in 3 million years still don’t budge global temperatures… official climate change narrative collapses in the face of real science [05/03/2019]

Is carbon dioxide the driving force behind climate change? That’s what many climate change alarmists would have you believe, but when you look at real-world data, that narrative collapses. If, as they claim, carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere are now higher than they’ve been at any point during the past three million years, and if higher carbon dioxide levels raise temperatures dramatically as they also claim, then we should be seeing a spike in global temperatures – and that just isn’t happening. In fact, the opposite is happening. NASA data shows that the ocean levels around the world have just dropped for two years in a row. A different NASA study shows that the rise in snow accumulation in Antarctica is adding enough ice to outweigh the losses of thinning glaciers. That study showed that the Antarctic ice sheet noted net gains of 112 billion tons of ice per year from 1992 to 2001 and 82 billion tons of ice a year from 2003 to 2008. There’s also the fact that the Jakobshavn glacier in Greenland, which was once used by climate change alarmists to show how global warming is melting glaciers, has reversed course and is now actually growing back thanks to unusually cold ocean currents.

Record Snowfall Hits Moscow, Kills One [2/4/19]

In Russian it is snow Armageddon. Over the weekend Moscow was “drowned” in snow, setting records, experiencing its heaviest snowfall in a day since records began. Moscow’s meteorological service said Moscow had seen more than half its average monthly snowfall in the space of 24 hours, beating the previous record set in 1957.

GLCFS Annual Comparison [6/26/19]

Dramatic global cooling this winter has created 4X more ice than average in the Great Lakes. Almost 4X the amount of ice as on this date last year. The average high for Great Lakes ice coverage of 42.53% is typically reached on March 4. On February 4, with ice coverage standing at 43.2%, the Great Lakes reached its average high exactly one month early.

Baton Rouge, New Orleans shatter record low temperatures Wednesday morning [1/17/18]

On the other side of the world in New Orleans, temperatures dropped to 20F (-6.7C) at Louis Armstrong International Airport, breaking the old record low of 23F (-5C) set on Jan. 17, 1977. And the mercury at Baton Rouge Metro Airport plunged to 14F (-10C), beating the old record low of 18F (-7.8C) set in 1977. It was also the coldest temperature recorded on any day in Baton Rouge since Dec. 24, 1989. We recently had hard freezes in all of southeast Georgia, northeast and north central Florida with lows in the 20s all areas except near 30 at the northeast Florida beaches.

In Mammoth, the snow is so deep residents must tunnel out. There’s a history to that [3/22/19]

Twenty-foot walls of white, corniced by the wind, leaned over the plowed roads. Residents worked feverishly to keep the snow from swallowing their homes. They dug tunnels and narrow passageways to the street, opened portals to get light through second-story windows, shoveled dangerous weight off their roofs.

Climate change not as threatening to planet as previously thought, new research suggests [9/18/17]

“Climate change poses less of an immediate threat to the planet than previously thought because scientists got their modelling wrong,” reports the UK Telegraph.

The world has never seen such freezing heat [11/16/08]

Similarly called into serious doubt was the reliability of some of the other temperature figures on which the IPCC based its case. Most notably these included those provided by NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), run by Dr James Hansen, A1 Gore’s closest scientific ally, which were one of the four official sources of temperature data on which the IPCC relied. These were shown to have been repeatedly ‘adjusted’, to suggest that temperatures had risen further and more steeply than was indicated by any of the other three main data-sources.

Global Warming Computers Were Hacked To Produce Phony Data [6/5/17]

  • Whether evidence was taken from lake sediments or ice cores, glaciers in the Andes or boreholes in every continent (Huang et ai, 1997), the results had been remarkably consistent in confirming that the familiar view was right.
  • There had been a Little Ice Age, across the world. There had similarly been a Mediaeval Warm Period.
  • Furthermore, a mass of data confirmed that the world had been even warmer in the Middle Ages than it was in 1998….
  • The first comprehensive study to review this point was published in January 2003 by Dr Willie Soon and his colleague Dr Sallie Baliunas of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
  • They had examined 140 expert studies of the climate history of the past 1,000 years, based on every kind of data.
  • Only seven of the 140 studies had denied the existence of a Mediaeval Warm Period, while 116 had confirmed it.
  • On the crucial question of whether or not the twentieth century had been the warmest of the past thousand years, only 15 studies, including that of Mann himself, had unambiguously agreed that it was.
  • The vast majority accepted that earlier centuries had been warmer.
  • The conclusion of Soon and Baliunas was that ‘Across the world, many records reveal that the twentieth century is probably not the warmest nor a uniquely extreme climatic period of the last millennium.’

Climate change science implodes as IPCC climate models found to be “totally wrong” … temperatures aren’t rising as predicted … hoax unraveling [9/19/17]

Contrary to global warming myths, global warming has not been associated with more flooding. In 8/31/17, the Journal of Hydrology showed that North American and European flooding averages are in decline; and flooding rates since 2010 are the lowest ever recorded. Floods have been steadily declining since the 1960s…. During times of global cooling, the number of hurricanes generally increase, so with two of these three hurricanes hitting land,  this may even be a warning sign that the global cooling trend has begun. The actual number of forest fires is down, but the number of acres lost to major forest fires is up, (due to national forest fire fighting policy changes).

Heartland Heartache Hits Record: “Mississippi River At Major Flood Stage For 41 Days & Counting” [5/6/19]

The Mississippi River crested at higher levels than it ever had in the past. That was at 22.7 feet in Davenport, Iowa, on Thursday, a record that hadn’t been matched since records began to be kept in 1862, said Loveland. That is almost eight feet above flood stage…. And according to NPR, the Mississippi has now been at major flood stage for 41 days in a row

Government Warns Of Historic, Widespread Flooding “Through May” – Food Prices To Skyrocket As 1000s Of Farms Are Destroyed [3/21/19]

We have never seen catastrophic flooding like this, and the NOAA is now telling us that there will be more major flooding for at least two more months.  On Thursday, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration warned that “historic, widespread flooding” would “continue through May”.  More than 90 percent of the upper Midwest and Great Plains is currently covered by an average of 10.7 inches of snow, and all of that snow is starting to melt.  That means that we are going to transition from one of the worst winters in modern history to a flood season that has already taken an apocalyptic turn for farmers all across America.  At this moment, millions of acres of farmland are already underwater.  [As pointed out previously, increased flooding is more associated with global cooling.]

Don’t Tell Anyone, But We Just Had Two Years Of Record-Breaking Global Cooling [5/16/18]

Did You Know the Greatest Two-Year Global Cooling Event Just Took Place? [4/24/18]

Writing in Real Clear Markets, Aaron Brown looked at the official NASA global temperature data and noticed something surprising. From February 2016 to February 2018, “global average temperatures dropped by 0.56 degrees Celsius.” That, he notes, is the biggest two-year drop in the past century.
