Fluorine is known as the structure, beauty, and youth element. It is found in the structural system of the body and tooth enamel. It is good for preserving bones. It helps to resist the forces of disease, beautify the body, strengthen the tendons, and knit bones. It works very well in combination with adequate calcium. Fluorine is stored in the spleen, eye structures, and elastic tissues. It influences the deepest internal tissues. One of the most important organs it affects is the spleen, which needs fluorine in order to function. Calcium will combine with fluorine to make calcium fluoride, a longevity compound. People have a lot of natural fluorine in their system to support hard bones and strong teeth. Natural fluorine in the system also helps protect us against virus and bacteria. One reason live-food practitioners have a little bit stronger immune system is that they don’t destroy the fluorine in their food by cooking. Fluorine has a cementing quality in bones, hair construction, tooth formation, and integrity of the meninges, nails, bone lining, and sinus wall linings. It is also a purifier. It disinfects and creates resistance to disease throughout the body. It also is an element that helps create beauty and youth. In a sense, fluorine helps us preserve our bodies against aging.
An excess of fluorine in the system can create fear, inflames and enlarges the splenic artery, and may create gas and heart palpitations. A deficiency of fluorine can cause worry, indifference, stress, difficulty getting up in the morning, slow mental functioning, and weakness in the corneal structure, nails, beard, and glossy surface of all the structures. A fluorine deficiency may also be associated with decayed teeth and bones and sclerosis in the brain. It is also associated with the weakening of eyesight, and with difficulty thinking, slow-healing fractures, swollen glandular eyelids, and craving for fatty foods.
Fluorine is an element found in raw fruits and vegetables. When it is exposed to heat, the fluorine tends to be destroyed. Fluorine is an unstable element. When we cook it, heat it, or steam it, fluorine tends to evaporate. The highest fluorine food sources are live green quince, sea vegetables, avocados, black-eyed peas, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, caraway seeds, cauliflower, dates, garlic, greens in general, juniper berries, lemongrass, licorice, New Zealand spinach, parsley, sea cabbage, sea lettuce, spinach, and tomatoes.
Sodium fluoride, used to fluoridate water, is not the same as natural fluoride. Natural fluoride is found in Nature as a calcium-fluora-phosphate. Natural fluoride does help build healthy bones and teeth. It is an organic edible salt. Sodium fluoride is an extreme poison. Dean Burk, Chief Chemist Emeritus of the U.S. National Cancer Institute, is quoted: “In point of fact, fluoride causes more human cancer death, and causes it faster, than any other chemical.”7 As little as one-tenth of an ounce of sodium fluoride can cause death. Sodium fluoride that is put into our water supplies not only does not protect teeth, but is a poisonous industrial waste product from aluminum production. The symptoms of sodium fluoride poisoning as listed in the 1983 U.S. Pharmacopedia include tarlike stool, bloody vomiting, diarrhea, faintness, nausea, stomach pain and cramps, excess salivation, skin rash, stiffness, weight loss, mottling of teeth, increased hip fractures, and death. In Kizilcaoren, Turkey, where their village water was 5.4 ppm (parts per million) of sodium fluoride, which is very high, all the inhabitants suffered premature aging. All people older than age 7 had teeth discoloration and the adults had few teeth left. Every single member of the village had some form of bone disease. According to How to Fight Cancer & Win, scientists at the Seibersdorf Research Center in Austria have shown that even 1 ppm of sodium fluorideimpairs the DNA repair system of the immune system. Other studies have shown that 1 ppm can cause significant chromosomal damage in plants, animals, and humans, and increases proportionately as the sodium fluoride amount increases. At the Nippon Dental College of Japan, researchers found that the fluoride level in U.S. water, which is 1 ppm, can transform normal cells into cancer cells. The American Cancer Institute in 1963 showed that even low levels of sodium fluoride increased the incidence of melanotic tumors by 12 percent to 100 percent. Polish scientists showed that as little as 0.6 ppm of sodium fluoride can create chromosomal damage.
According to the Merck Index, sodium fluoride is a rat and cockroach poison. Sodium fluoride is one of the basic ingredients in Prozac and sarin nerve gas. Neither sodium fluoride nor stannous fluoride, which is in most toothpastes, is safe. A significant amount of research over the past fifty years shows that sodium fluoride shortens lifespan, increases the incidence of cancer, creates mental disturbances, and literally makes humans stupid, docile, and subservient. Humorously, there is no objective, double-blind study that even links sodium fluoride to healthy teeth. It is interesting to note who thought of putting sodium fluoride in the water. It was the Nazis who consciously used it in their concentration camps and for general population control. It was not to help people’s teeth. It was to sterilize the prisoners, destroy their mental capacities, and wipe out their will to resist. According to Charles Perkins, a research chemist who spent twenty years researching fluorine: “Any person who drinks artificially fluoridated water for a period of more than one year or more, will never again be the same person mentally or physically.”8 According to Dr. Tru Ott, sodium fluoride inhibits more than 100 important enzyme functions in the body and is associated with approximately 50,000 cancer deaths per year. The number of deaths in fluoridated water areas, according to the CDC (Center for Disease Control), is 5 percent higher than in non-fluoridated areas. It is so deadly that in 1979 a dentist was sued for the death of a three-year-old child who swallowed a fluoride rinse. Sodium fluoride is not only in water, but in Diet Coke at 2.96 ppm and in 42 percent of ready-to-drink fruit juices.9 This is probably because they are using fluoridated water where their factories are located.
An important part of Spiritual Nutrition is not to drink or eat anything that will impair your physical or mental health, or impair your spiritual will power. This is why the author is making such a point about avoiding all sodium fluoride.
