Essential oils have been used around the world for centuries, utilizing the plentiful healing benefits found within the purest parts of plants. Here are a few ideas on how to use your oils:
Blend into a spray mist:
Use a spray top bottle, add 7-11 drops of Essential Oils, for a spray, Citrus blends are light and refreshing.
With a room diffuser:
You can choose from a wide range of nebulizers from the complex professional model to a simple round infuser. Add 7 drops to a water infuser or fill a glass nebulizer a quarter full. It will last a few days in a large room.
Using a compress:
By adding 12 drops oil to a cup of warm water to help with bruises, arthritis, cramps, or headaches and chest pains. Just soak cloth in bowl, wring out, and apply.
Reflex your feet:
Add 10 drops of Essential Oil blend in one teaspoon of jojoba and massage into feet. Relax for 10 minutes.
Make a tent:
Add 8-10 drops of Essential Oils to 2 cups of boiled water in pottery bowl, cover head and bowl with a cloth and deep breathe the vapors.
Take a wiff:
Inhale directly from your aroma bottle or a few drops of aroma oil on a handkerchief. Transport yourself into another universe!
Enjoy a bath:
It is important to run your bath first, then add natural soap and aroma oils. This slows the evaporation rate, and the soap enables the oils to mix and not sit on top of water. Use 6-10 drops of Essential Oils.
Enjoy a massage:
Add 8-12 drops of Essential Oils to 2 oz of massage oil. This will be enough for a whole body massage.
