The State Of Radiation In Our World – Update

The Fukushima radiation blowout is, as predicted, an unresolved world disaster. Essentially, it is the most major population disaster the world has ever faced. The radiation in Tokyo has levels higher than inside the Chernobyl exclusion (evacuation) zone. In other words, there are 35 million people in Tokyo and they are all living in a zone that should have been evacuated according to the Russian approach. Radiation 100 km (60 miles) from Fukushima, of Cesium 137 concentration in air filters in vehicles in Tokyo is more than 1000 times higher in terms of their concentration than at the peak of […]

Fukushima Radiation Consequences Proving More Dire

As the Fukushima world disaster continues to unfold, we have learned that the strontium levels are 240 times over the legal limit near the plant, which has become an uninhabitable land area. The nuclear waste advisor to the Japanese government recently explained that roughly 966 square kilometers (km), or 600 square miles, around Fukushima are now uninhabitable due to the unfolding disaster. This massive dead zone area is equivalent in size to 17 Manhattan Islands placed next to one another. Unfortunately, the latest readings taken approximately 20 miles out to sea from the site showed radioisotope levels from all the radioactive particles were ten times higher than those […]

Fukushima Is Worse Than Chernobyl

The Fukushima crisis continues to worsen beyond even Dr. Helen Caldicott’s comment, “It’s worse than Chernobyl.” To generalize the big picture, the Japanese government has not been able to stop the biggest radiation leak the world has ever seen. To make matters worse, they alternate between denial and admitting the bare essential facts; (a little bit more than the US government is doing). This is a serious problem because without adequate and honest information the Japanese, American, and global public are severely limited in understanding the seriousness of the situation. They are thusly unmotivated and are not empowered to protect […]

The Continued Radiation Exposure From Fukushima Needs To Be Taken Seriously

Recently a very reasonable-sounding, moderate, lacto-vegetarian person (who claims to have studied the radiation issue for one day) created a very thoughtful, reasonable assuring statement that the Fukushima radiation may not be a problem.  This is challenging because it assuaged people’s fears around the issue, while leaving them vulnerable to the real threat.  Part of the problem is that this person, being inexperienced, was, and is, unaware of all the literature on this subject making very clear statements.  Consequently, he ignored the major teachers on the subject. Dr. John Gofman was a physicist hired by the Atomic Energy Commission to […]
