Enzymes contain the power of life itself, and eating a live-food diet helps maintain the quality and quantity of our enzyme pool, thus helping promote longevity. Enzymes are living proteins that direct the life force into our basic biochemical and metabolic processes. Enzymes even help repair our DNA and RNA.
Enzymes transform and store energy in the body, they make active hormones, and they participate in their own productive cycle. They dissolve fiber and prevent clotting, they have anti-inflammatory effects and even analgesic effects, and they prevent edema.
In my book, Conscious Eating, I explained how enzymes can help build and enhance the immune system, help to heal cancer, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis, and minimize the effect of athletic injuries by decreasing recovery time.
Enzymes, of course, are needed for digestion, and live-food enzymes have been proven to have an anti-aging effect. Enzymes work with the cellular structure in the cell nucleus in the cell mitochondria, which are the energy factories in the system.
There is evidence that the amount of endogenous enzyme secretion decreases or increases depending on how much is needed. This is important because enzyme energy goes where it is needed in the body. If less enzyme energy is needed for digestion, there is more available to enhance other bodily processes.
By eating foods in which the enzymes have not been destroyed, we maintain a continuous exogenous enzyme input into the system and therefore decrease the endogenous depletion of enzyme energy. The excess enzymes released from live foods or from enzyme supplements, such as Serraxym, can be absorbed into the system to increase our enzyme content and energy.
There are three main methods for maintaining or increasing enzyme energy in the system:
- eating a live-food diet
- adding enzymes (such as Serraxym) as a supplement
The result of conservation and an increase of enzyme energy is that, beyond digestion, more enzyme energy is available for our vitality, body detoxification, metabolic function, dissolution of scar tissue and crystallized deposits in the tissues, digestion of excess fatty tissue, and regeneration. The more viable enzyme systems we have, the more avenues are open for us to be energized and revitalized in this way.
The benefits of systemic enzymes have been researched and documented for over a century in which they have produced significant results with no known toxicity or negative side effects.*
Systemic enzymes in Serraxym™ may:
• Support overall joint, tendon and cartilage function*
• Promote circulatory health*
• Support heart health*
• Support the immune system*
• Support the body’s natural healing response*
SERRAXYM™ is a blend of Serratiopeptidase and Catalase in a proprietary mineral base designed to enhance the effects of the enzyme actions. To obtain the maximum results take one (1) capsule with a glass of water on an empty stomach (2 hours before or after meals). May be taken every eight hours (3 times per day).
Other ingredients: rice extract, capsule (vegetable cellulose, water). SERRAXYM™ is free of fillers, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. It is NON-GMO, NONSOY, NON-DAIRY, and is in delayed release, acidresistant, vegetarian capsules.
