For spiritual life, we have to go inside for some level of truth. People somewhat in control of society have created an overall societal reality and are working very hard to get you to believe in it.  Certain things have been done throughout history that can throw you off.  The Gregorian calendar is an example of this.  It is a calendar system that puts us slightly out of touch, but just enough to throw us off from true astrological time, which is a way that God communicates with us and is a way of organizing the energies coming onto the […]

Zorba the Buddha

There are many different levels and kinds of wisdom.  One of the most important of these is viveka. This wisdom is most important for living sanely in our world today. This is a yogic term, which means the ability to tell the difference between the illusory/temporary reality and the absolute reality.  There are different levels to that.  We have dual, non-dual reality and prior to that, beyond the mind, is the nothing.  This is prior to the confines of the dualistic mind.  Liberation is when the glass ceiling of the mind shatters and you don’t mind, because there is no […]

The Power of Awakened Human Consciousness

Recently it’s been in the headlines that there is a physicist who has proven the existence of God. The discovery of a specific tachyon-type of particle is bringing science and God-awareness together. People have known about the transcendent God for thousands of years, and science is catching up. This is good. We have the intelligent design from the transcendent creator. When we look at it from another angle, we see that there is also an eminent God that is active in our world. Shamanic mysticism in particular focuses on the eminent God. My 8-year-old granddaughter sent me a little quote. She said, “Everybody stays together until it’s time to go.” This is brilliant. She was speaking exactly to the issues of the time, the deconstruction of society. There is a time to be together, and there is a time to differentiate. The chesed (mercy) aspect of the Tree of Life is togetherness. The gevurah (boundaries) aspect of the Tree of Life is the boundaries, clarity, and discrimination. In our society there is an effort to take away boundaries, clarity, and discrimination because someone will be offended. That leads us to “the blob”. […]
